Ale Emporium is a family-owned restaurant that operates in the city of Indianapolis. It has been operating for over four decades and is a local favorite.
People go to the establishment not only for the food, but also to say hello to Onesimus, commonly known as O. He is an elderly mixed-breed dog kept by Chis Hise, a local who does building maintenance.
Chris and O live alone. When he is not at work, he dotes on the 11-year-old dog as if he were his entire world. O would stroll throughout the building while on the job, but never too far. He is well-behaved and polite and is beloved by the restaurant owners and their clients.
Chris’ biggest nightmare came true one day. While he was power washing the walls of the building, O strolled around to greet the individuals on the grounds. But then, he never came back. Chris grew apprehensive and inquired around. The owners of the restaurant had not seen the dog, so they checked the video cameras.
O ended up straying too far and approaching the road. Two individuals exited a vehicle, grabbed him up, and drove away. Chris was distraught since his favorite pet had been abducted by strangers. They felt sorry for him since they knew how much he loved his dog.
Thus, they endeavored to assist him.
The business owners created and distributed flyers to their regulars. They posted a photo of the puppy, along with a snapshot of the vehicle in which he was taken, on their social media account. After a day and a half, O rejoined Chris.
It was all a miscommunication. O was taken by people who mistook him for a lost puppy. They transported him to a local shelter to determine whether or not he had a microchip. The following day, they noticed the ad about O and returned him to his owner.
Chris is thrilled to have his pet returned. He is so appreciative of the generosity and assistance he has received.
