A report contacted Alley Cat Rescue in Los Angeles about two kittens needing rescue. The adorable feline brothers James and Jacobi, the former white and grey while the latter an orange tabby, were utterly inseparable.
During recovery, the two little kittens were so close to each other. The brothers have separation anxiety when Jacobi can’t let go of his brother as the two are constantly snuggling.
The two kittens were never afraid of anything, much less anyone, and have always loved mingling with people, dogs, and alike. When they got healthier, they moved to a foster home where a little cuddle-maniac surprise awaited them.
Pickles The Deaf Love-Bug
Little did the two kittens know they were in for a love-riddle surprise. Enter Pickles, a 5-year-old deaf dog rescued from a disastrous shelter. Pickles told the brothers that they were very welcome to their new home.
Despite Pickles’s past, he loves giving cuddles to everyone he meets. So much so that whenever his owners bring in new rescues, he’s the first to shower them with hugs.
The Love Was Mutual
As expected, Pickles instantly gave them a snuggle-fest when the brothers arrived. Much to everyone’s surprise, the two did not hold back in returning the favor to Pickles.
The rescued kittens felt comfortable with Pickles and vice-versa. Despite the vast age gap, they cared for and even played with each other. And the three even sleep together.
A Better (Snuggle Filled) Life
Meeting Pickles helped the kittens open up more. As months passed, the kittens became happy and zest-filled teenage cats.
“We are delighted that these two affectionate and cuddly boys are going to spend the rest of their lives together in a loving home, “Alley Cat Rescue” stated.
Now, the ultimate question is, who is the real rescuer? Alley Cat Rescue or Pickles? Kidding! The correct answer is both.
