Dogs with disabilities are less popular and are adopted less frequently than dogs without disabilities. This is because people are not too keen on caring for a dog that need special care. This is why Rocky Kanaka, a YouTube content maker, chose to raise a blind puppy. It was his way of showing how valuable blind dogs are, and that they are just like any other dog out there.
Rocky arranged a complete day of fun activities for Willie, the blind dog, to enjoy. Attempting a few new things was the focus of the activities. One of them was sampling a unique Starbucks confection.
Rocky visited a Starbucks via the drive-through and requested the largest available cup of puppuccino. It is a cappuccino variant that is safe for dogs to drink. It only consists of whipped cream in a cup, despite its posh name.
The man permitted a drive-through staff to hold the cup as Willie drank the contents. The worker was ecstatic to witness the dog lick the puppuccino. Rocky then stopped in a parking lot to allow the dog to consume the remainder of his treat. Willie’s face was covered in whipped cream, and his reaction showed just how much he enjoyed it.
The weather was ideal for the next activity, a pool party. Rocky then returned home to prepare for Willie’s pool party.
Willie was fascinated as Rocky filled a little pool with water. He let the dog to follow the sound of the hose and made him do so for some time. It’s amusing how Willie reacted as the stream of water hit his head.
After the pool was filled, Rocky brought Willie in slowly. He also entered the water to make the dog be comfortable in the water. A blind dog named Kobe joined the pool party later.
As Kobe’s foster parent, Rocky created numerous videos about him. He ended up adopting Kobe after some time. There is a potential that Willie might experience the same outcome. Currently, he is still available for adoption.
