It’s not a popular choice for most dog owners, but to Daisy’s parents, letting Siberian Husky Millie sleep in their daughter’s room is a no-brainer. After all, the dog has been by Daisy’s side since she was born— literally.
You see, when Daisy was brought home, she was the tiniest little baby. During that time, Millie would watch her new ward, and she must have thought how fragile Daisy looked. The Husky decided she would always be there for the tiny human no matter what.
From then on, the two have been inseparable. They would play and bond all day, so it only makes sense that Millie would want to be close to Daisy at night too.
Huskies are well known for their high energy levels and love of the outdoors. They are also loyal to death, but unlike other dogs who might form a bond with one specific family member, huskies tend to be equal-opportunity cuddlers.
They’re just as likely to curl up on the couch with dad as they are to snuggle with mom or play with the kids. In other words, once a husky finds its forever home, it’s all in.
So, while some may see Millie sleeping in Daisy’s room as an inconvenience, her parents know that it’s just another example of the amazing bond between their daughter and her furry best friend. And who knows? Maybe someday Millie will have a baby of her own to watch over.
Whether you’re a dog lover or not, there’s no denying the special bond between humans and their furry friends—especially when that furry friend is a husky. They can be stubborn, but their positive traits more than makeup for their strong-willed nature!
Millie has every right to sleep in Daisy’s room—after all, she’s been by Daisy’s side since day one.
