Eldad and Loreta from Hope for Paws animal rescue had received a text message from Good Samaritans about a scared homeless dog that had kept coming back to an abandoned house next door. They immediately responded and figured out a plan to secure the dog.
Catching Spiderman
When the rescuers had arrived at the house next to where the dog was hiding, Eldad saw a small area between the fences and gates where the dog could pass through. He blocked all possible escape routes and had Loreta handle the gentle dog catching apparatus.
The dog didn’t resist the rescuers’ help, Loreta spoke to him with her soft voice to calm him down. He enjoyed the attention given and was certainly glad to be petted. The rescuers had noticed that there was a huge chance that the dog used to belong to someone or a family.
The poor dog was covered up in cobwebs that were infested with spiders when they found him. Eldad tried to lighten up the mood and decided that they would call the dog Spiderman.
Spiderman has been rescued
Loreta was also covered in spiders and their webs, but all that mattered to her was getting the dog out of that heartbreaking situation. She then attached the Hope for Paws lucky leash around Spiderman and they then brought him to the CARES clinic to get checked. It was apparent in Spiderman’s face and wagging tail that he was thankful for the people that had come to help him start a new life.
The dog enjoyed the bath and kisses given to him that he probably hasn’t had any in a long time. Spiderman has a new life thanks to the likes of the Good Samaritans that asked for help and especially Loreta and Eldad from Hope for Paws.
