It’s tough to get separated from your family, but for dogs, this is a regular occurrence. They don’t have a say in it, but thankfully, they adapt well to a new environment.
These Pitbull brothers are named Keiko and Niko. Keiko’s the black and white brother, while Niko’s the white-coated one. They’re part of a litter being sold as fighting dogs.
Fortunately for the dogs, an organization called Simi Valley Missing Pets rescued them. That’s where Kiko and Niko found their respective families. While Keiko did well, Niko didn’t.
Keiko’s adoptive family wanted to take Niko in, but the three-dog rule prevented them from doing so. Niko’s adoptive family, fortunately, returned him to the organization he was adopted from.
At this time, Keiko’s adoptive family lost one of their dogs. This gave way to Niko getting reunited, thanks to Keiko’s loving hooman family. The two pitties must have been pleased beyond measure.
The pets could now enjoy life together, and they did. They raced, played a game of tag, frolicked on the beach, and just had fun. If not for their incredible lady owner, they wouldn’t be this way.
It’s quite incredible to see people come together to do good for our furry friends. We need more people with hearts like theirs so that more dogs could enjoy the quality of life they deserve.
We could tell that these two are extra protective of their hooman mom, as they should be. Without her, this fairytale life of theirs wouldn’t have happened. Mad props to you, mom!
May Keiko and Niko always be by your side through whatever you go through in life. We’re sorry you lost a pet, but we’re happy you now have another with you.
Gracias for sharing your story on the net. May you be blessed abundantly for your good heart!
