There are numerous tricks and commands that dogs may learn. They’ll do their best to follow you if you give them enough instructions and a tasty treat. These pups work really hard, especially when they know there is a prize in store for them. You can most definitely teach a dog to learn and do anything you want with this technique.
A woman named Megan Bolen tried to train her Miniature Australian Shepherd, Rogan, after a friend showed her a video of a dog that knew how to paint. They began painting for fun, and after ten days, the dog began to enjoy painting on his canvas.
Megan has just taken up painting as a hobby. But, as a dog lover, she enjoys teaching her dog new tricks. So, when she realized that dogs could learn to paint as well, she created a customized paintbrush for Rogan to use with his mouth.
Rogan then learned how to paint lines, shapes, and different strokes with a lot of treats and patience. This incredible talent wowed so many people that the doggo’s paintings became a hit when they went on the market.
Rogan has been painting for more than a year now, and he has sold more than 200 paintings.
Megan and Rogan contribute all of the proceeds from the paintings to local rescue shelters in Southern Alberta. Until recently, some of Rogan’s paintings were sent to Hong Kong to be part of a dog-themed art display.
For Tripawd’s fundraiser, one of Rogan’s paintings was up for auction, along with 16 other dog paintings. Tripawd is a non-profit that assists dogs that have just lost a limb to cancer. The money raised goes towards sending cancer care packages to dogs in need.
Megan is ecstatic with Rogan’s success as a painter. He not only gets to have fun and learn new abilities, but he also gets to help a lot of other dogs that are in need of assistance. Rogan’s talent allows him to provide new chances and possibilities to dogs all across the world.
