On April 1st, 2021, TV station MIR 24 weather reporter Nadezhda Serezhkina delivered her weather report on live television in Moscow, just like any typical day.
As Serezhkina presented her report on the spring weather in Russia’s capital, someone abruptly appears from below, snatched the colorful microphone from her hand, and ran with it. It was a Golden Retriever moving with the speed of light that left Serezhkina stunned.
No one knows whether this dog knew that it was April Fool’s Day that day or that he found the rainbow-colored microphone enticing and mistook it as a dog toy.
As soon as the pup ran with the microphone in his mouth, Serezhkina ran as fast as she could.
Then, the scene quickly cut back to the other anchor in the studio, Elina Dashkueva, who tried her best to conceal her shock as she continued to deliver her report.
After Dashkueva delivered her report, it was Serezhkina’s turn to appear on the screen. Now she is holding her microphone, which seemed to have several bit marks on it. Still, it appears that she successfully retrieved it from the dog who interrupted her report.
Not only did Serezhkina claim what was rightfully hers. But it also appears that she was also able to befriend the Golden Retriever, Martin. And she delivered her report, side by side with the pup, which is all smiles as he sat contentedly beside her.
After the report, Martin even got a lot of head scratches and pats from the reporter. This dog loves getting a lot of attention!
Fortunately, this won’t be the last time Serezhkina will meet Martin. The reporter plans to visit the canine for a follow-up interview in the future! Indeed, all dog lovers will be looking forward to this!
