Pugs are known for being intelligent, funny, and playful dogs that enjoy being the center of attention. However, their rebellious and obstinate character makes them difficult to train and be taught tricks.
Those who successfully train their pugs, however, will be rewarded handsomely. Pugs can be the most fascinating house dogs if they are properly taught. One video features such a pug.
Angel is a well-trained pug that adores playing with her human father. One day, her father decided to film her performing some feats. As a means of persuasion and motivation, he needed to place a bag of her favorite treats in front of her.
The clip began with the fur dad and Angel facing one another, with Angel seated on the floor. Dad instructed her to maintain her position as he removed the snacks and placed them within arm’s reach. This was when the fun started.
First, Angel’s father urged her to lie down, and the dog did so. He then instructed her to roll over, which she also did.
Next, her father instructed her to sit, but because she wanted to lie down, he told her to play dead instead. As mischievous as she is, Angel snorted and then acted as if she was dead! The fur dad then instructed her to stand up and shake his hand.
When the fur dad told Angel to stand up, Angel then stood up and then sat down. She was still seated in that position when her father told her to speak, to which she responded with a bark.
The fur dad praised Angel for her obedience. He then instructed her to prepare for the final trick. Angel had to resist one of the most alluring things in her life, food, in order to do this feat.
When dad said, “Nose,” he pulled a treat from the bag and placed the goodie delicately on Angel’s nose. He then told the dog to stay because he wanted her to wait for his signal before eating the treat.
All of these happened quickly and it is quite amazing to watch.
